Manuka oil

What is in it: Leptospermum scoparium.

To know: Leptospermum essential oil, known in the Maori language as Manuka oil, is obtained from a New Zealand plant. There are three chemotypes and the one obtained from plants grown in the eastern part of the island is the richest in trichetones, the substances with the greatest antimicrobial activity. According to laboratory tests, Manuka oil is more active than Malaleuca oil and Pine essential oil.

How to take: internal use: 1 drop in the morning. External use: apply it once or several times per day pure or possibly diluted.
